PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 4 Years in RF Drive Test Engineer

Currently working as RF DT Engineer –NPI (LTE, 3G & 2G) with ALCATEL LUCENT system (Parent company Link Quest Telecom Global Pvt Ltd in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:-

4G, 3G /2G/CDMA/ (RF Drive Test), DATA ANALYSER & FIELD OPTIMIZATION:

LTE:

Carried out Single site verification in Pre-Drive and Post Drive.

Used to perform the Coverage drive (Both Downlink and Uplink) for the given

site.

Collected the parameters such as RSRP, RSRQ and CINR from the field in order to improve the site performance.

Performed multiple tests such as Static Downlink/Static uplink, Ping, Attach/Detach and cell edge.

Also checked for the CSFB (Circuit Switched Fall Back) For the Site in both

IDLE and CONNECTED mode. Check for the Intra-Handover and Inter-Handover.

Also performed PS-Handover and IRAT. Analyzed Drive test data and provides suggestion for the optimization. Analyzing Log files and Making of SCFT reports using TEMS Discovery tool.

Prepared Presentation slots for various parameters like RSRP, RSRQ, CINR and Download and upload coverage’s plots.

In Cluster Acceptance, performed Download and Upload Coverage.

Making of Cluster acceptance report.

Generated Pre and post cluster reports.

WCDMA:

Optimization of UMTS sites based on Coverage_RSCP, Quality_Ec/Io, Pilot pollution,

Missing neighbors, Soft Handover using drive test data’s. Optimize to improve Ec/Io (Reduce Pilot Pollution) by improving RSCP of dominant cells and reducing coverage (Interference) of less dominant sectors through

antenna Tilt changes and power changes, thus rectify the overshooting sectors issues.

Checking Co scrambling code issues. Adding missing 3G-3G neighbors and deleting the long neighbors using scanner measurements.

Primary verification of drive data and taking necessary corrective measures,

like Neighbor addition and deletion and interference analysis. Providing appropriate Tilts (Electrical /Mechanical) to reduce the interference or

improve the coverage.3.5G DRIVE TEST - HSDPA & HSUPA drive testing for

checking throughput in Network. HSDPA parameters like CQI, Modulation

etc.

GSM:

2G GSM 900/1800 DRIVE TEST, DATA ANALYSER & FIELD OPTIMIZATION:

Physical optimization of existing sites. Finding out the Interference problem & rectify the same. Identify the reasons for TCH Blocking, TCH Drop &

Handover failures. Monitoring some parameters of KPI’s (HOSR, TCH Blocking) and planning to

keep those values with in Bench Marks.

Pre DT and Post DT were carried out in ideal and dedicated mode to check the quality of the network.

Very much skilled in using MapInfo, TEMS Discovery for preparing of reports
