Documentation of Stained Glass

Windows• The stained glass windows were documented

and measured to restore and resize into the new space

• Following are the mock-up design renditions.• Each panel will be carefully Historically restored,

cleaned, and resized to fit into the new space.

Window # 1 -Alpha/Omega The color of the center panel will not be exactly as shown below. The center panel photo was taken without sunlight behind it, therefore, does not visually show its true transparent beauty. The design of the center panel will be different then that of the right and left lancets.

Addendum to Window # 1 – Parlor Window-Alpha/Omega OPTION: The center lancet will be fabricated with new stained glass to complement the transparency of the Left Lancet (Alpha) and the Right Lancet (Omega).

Window No. 16, 17, and 18 (Light boxes) Church will complete all carpentry and electrical before installation of stained glass window. Measurements to be coordinated with Willet Hauser studio supervisor.

Next Steps• Willet Hauser has provided the First Baptist Church with newly

resized drawing renditions to utilize the existing stained glass windows.

• It has been decided to use the existing stained glass windows.– OPTION: An Addendum has been included to fabricate a center lancet in

Window No. 1.

• It has been decided not to include any additional symbols.

• Willet Hauser will provide a proposal to complete the following:• Crate and Transport the necessary panels (38) to the Willet Hauser

Architectural Glass Studios. Additional panels may be necessary for extra glass for resizing.

• Carefully restore the stained glass and resize it to fit the new space.

• Installation of the newly restored and resized panels.

• The First Baptist Church reviews the proposal for approval.

• A timeline is determined.
