India Is an Agricultural Country!

Our Country receives

the high solar

radiation and a

majority of our states

are having drought

like conditions during

the summers

Excess Packets of Energy

But too much energy is not required and often proven harmful.

Sharing For Mutual needs

Crops don’t need too much of exposure to the solar radiation, just a

threshold quantity throughout the day is sufficient.

Photovoltaic cells can sustain high solar radiations and could produce

electric potential instead.

Lets’ Define the needs

Plants need shade and panels need land.

Page 7: Irrolarea | Irrigation Solar and Area Management

The $1M question

– Why do plants need shade?

No they don’t directly need shade but in arid regions the soil fails to

retain moisture due to evaporation loss. These evaporation losses

account for deficiency in moisture content and cause wilting of

plants.

Our Solution

Solar Sharing and Application of Optics!

THE ROTATION OF EARTH PROVIDES

THE SOLUTION

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so there will be no light

in the part directly behind the panels but as the day passes the

direction of sun will change so will the location of the geometric

shadow.

Intermittently exposed to radiation in terms of heat and light

WHAT WE PROPOSE?

A Joint Venture with the farmers and place the solar panels to generate the electricity

and sell that electricity.

Benefits:

1. Better Crop Yield

2. No investment in Land Costs

3. Availability of Energy for extremely low cost
