C. Chapter’s VisionThe seeds for the Computer Society CS UP were first sown in the beginning of 2016 with the vision of creating a healthy and nurturing environment for free exchange of ideas and osmosis of knowledge regarding computer science among students, professionals and academicians. The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of theoretical and practical knowledge of computer science and IT and to help the society with the application of the same.

Chapter Activities
2. The IEEE student branch IIIT Allahabad in association with IEEE CS Student Chapter, IIIT Allahabad organized an invited talk by Prof. Mriganka Sur(MIT) on 10th August 2016. Prof. M. Sur has discussed about the research possibilities in Neuroscience. He has emphasized on the innovation and devotion in research work. The attendees were made aware of the cutting edge research being carried out in the field of Neuroscience. The attendees were also encouraged to acquire deep knowledge of their area of interest and consider conducting research studies in these fields.
Talks:
1.The IEEE student branch IIIT Allahabad in association with IEEE CS Student Chapter, IIIT Allahabad organized an invited talk by Mr. Siddharth on 7th Sept, 2016. He shared his valuable experiences of his student life and academic career. The attendees got an opportunity to interact with a professional and were made privy to his research ambitions and how he went about to accomplish his goal.
Workshop:LaTex Typesetting Workshop:The IEEE Student Branch IIITA organized an IEEE workshop on 'LaTeX Typesetting' conducted by Mr. Arun Kant Singh (IIT Kanpur), Assistant Professor, IIIT Allahabad on 13th - 14th August, 2016. The attendees learned how to install all the basic packages of LaTex and the core and advanced topics needed to create any document using LaTex.

Technikwiz:
The IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter IIIT Allahabad conducted it online as well as offline across India. Technikwiz is a quizzing extravaganza that puts the participants quizzing skills to test.
The Impact of CS Chapter The nascent IEEE CS chapter of IIIT ALLAHABAD has already had a huge positive impact on its members and the students of IIIT Allahabad. The various events held throughout the year has helped a great deal in developing our technical prowess in various fields and has also granted the organizers an opportunity to improve their leadership and managerial skills. Various talks and workshops have granted us the opportunity to absorb useful knowledge from academicians and professionals at the pinnacle of their fields, which in turn has expanded our mental horizon and nurtured our innovative minds. Moreover, competitions like Technikwiz 2016 has triggered the competitive side in students which is necessary to cultivate a productive and ever developing technical society. Also networking between students of IIITA as well as students from other parts of India has resulted in a healthy exchange of ideas and knowledge which is a pillar in shaping the future of a developing community. All these factors have resulted in massive participation from students in various events of the CS and has also motivated many students to take membership in CS. Thus the CS chapter of IIITA has evoked the hidden talents in many students who have the potential of becoming Technology Leaders of the future.
Impact – Outside Chapter
The IEEE Computer Society Uttar Pradesh Section was formed in 2014, and the IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter IIIT-A was formed in the year 2016.Initially when we started this Chapter we hardly had any inter-college communication. We conducted some events which was at section level and made representative from different colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Then the number of participation for events kept on increasing in the section level events. We gave other colleges the opportunity to conduct it at their institute technically and financially helped by us.

How was the branch formed. What is the real meaning of Networking ? How can we make people learn from IEEE ? The Question which motivated me to get involved in Management. IEEE Computer Society India Symposium with an entirely different
concept. How and why ?

The IEEE Computer Society India Symposium( CSIS ) is my dream project and I am planning this event in such a way that it will be different from other events in a way that it will be more technical oriented and you will get a chance to learn from India’s best professors. It will be a technical fest that would consist of talks followed by workshop on the same topic as the talk so that students can implement things in the Symposium itself.
What will make it different? Why it is Unique ? How will it help me making IEEE what I thought it was. Emergence of Uttar Pradesh Section ?
