Password Protection in HMI?
Protecting whole HMI and Certain
Part of HMI with password so that
only authorized user can access
system (PLANT).

STEPS TO SET PASSWORD IN HMI

Step 1:
Set the different Password in HMI In HMI we can set 8 different passwords in
single HMI.

How to set Password?
Navigate to
1.Options – Password
Settings
2. In Password Setting -
set 8 different passwords
from level 0~7 then click
OK.
LOGIN/LOGOUT IN HMI

Step 2
Create Home Screen in HMI Software Now we have to create one GOTO BUTTON which will acts as an LOGIN
button on pressing it will ask for password.

Steps to follow:
1. Create a Goto button
2. Set security on Goto
Button by setting
User security Level
from property
window of goto
button.
3. Check( tick) - user’s
security level will be
set to Low Security
after Changing
screen.

to Low Security after
