Why this survey?● Within a few years there is nowhere in the world a

traditional macro and/or micro electricity grid● A lot of PV is added, worldwide● Storage will be added, at least for the switches between

RE and diesel & coop with diesel● Organic growth & > 100% RE● Traditional manufacturing SWT & MWT can't cope with

smart grid, foster awareness manufacturers● Market information against charlatans and pro #POFF● Ongoing process !!

Recommendations – Findings

As a manufacturer of small and/or medium turbines you will not sell turbines with only a mast, rotor and asynchronic motor as generator anymore. Your turbine needs to be intelligent.Your turbine has to coop with (local) situations with (more than 100%) renewables.For the customer: buying a cheaper model, build on the old fashioned way, will be more expensive in the end when you have to refurbish.There are no single solutions yet, every situation is still unique. Caveat Emptor.
