Supported by our technology and innovation, and in collaboration with our customers, Constellium produces advanced aluminium alloys and cutting-edge technological solutions. Through its three Business Units, Constellium anticipates and responds to the fast-evolving market needs.

AEROSPACE AND TRANSPORTATION provides technologically advanced aluminium alloys with wide applications across the global aerospace, defense, transportation and industrial sectors. The Business Unit offers a wide range of products including plates, sheets and extrusions which allow Constellium to provide tailored solutions to its customers.

PACKAGING AND AUTOMOTIVE ROLLED PRODUCTS develops, provides and recycles aluminium sheets and coils for packaging applications (beverage and food cans, closures, foils) as well as automotive solutions, including high-performance products for automotive Body-in-White (BiW) and heat exchangers. To develop the company’s global BiW capacity, Constellium is investing up to €200 million in its two European plants in order to increase production capacity at Neuf-Brisach, France and start BiW production at Singen, Germany. In North America, Constellium’s joint venture facility with UACJ located in Bowling Green, Kentucky is scheduled to start production in the first half of 2016, with full capacity by 2018. Constellium also completed earlier this year the acquisition of Wise Metals located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, USA, placing the company 3rd in the North American can sheet industry. To develop the site’s BiW capabilities, Constellium plans to invest up to $750 million by 2022.

AUTOMOTIVE STRUCTURES AND INDUSTRY produces advanced solutions for the global premium automotive industry, including crash management systems and other structural and safety parts and extrusions. This Business Unit also manufactures large profiles mainly for road and rail transportation, energy and other industrial applications. Constellium complements this product range with a comprehensive offering of downstream technology and services, including pre-machining, surface treatment and logistic support services.

A leader in aluminium-based performance products

A global leader in aluminium transformation, Constellium designs and manufactures innovative and high value-added aluminium products.

We have four key objectives:

• focus on Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), which is one of Constellium’s core value commitments at all levels of the organization. Significant improvements have been recorded on the road to zero accidents

• focus on selected strategic end-markets: aerospace, automotive, and packaging. Geographically, we are looking at opportunities to selectively expand our global footprint

• create product leadership, based on innovative technologies that really are differentiating. We are working to achieve this by drawing not only on our world-class R&D capabilities, but also on our network of partnerships with leading universities and research facilities

• achieve excellence in customer service and in all our operations through the flawless, rigorous and decisive execution of our Lean Transformation program

An ambitious strategy

On 5 January 2015, Constellium completed the acquisition of Wise Metals located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, USA. This is a significant milestone for Constellium as it: • enables Constellium to enter the North American can market

• provides hot mill capacity to accelerate the company’s Body-in-White footprint in North America, becoming a top 3 player in this rapidly growing market

• significantly increases scale enabling the company to better serve its global customer base

• transforms Constellium into a more balanced global player, with a stronger North American footprint
