Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short range and low power wireless technology originally developed for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, creating personal area network.

The word “Bluetooth” is taken from the 10th century Danish King Harlard

The Bluetooth specification was first developed in 1994 by Ericsson Mobile Communication Ltd.

In 1999, first specification of Bluetooth i.e. Bluetooth 1.0 is released.Range of Connection : 10 m – 100 m.Supports data rate of : 1Mb/s.

Data Acquisition System •DAQ systems capture, measure, and

analyse physical phenomena from the real world.

•Light, temperature and pressure are examples of the different types of signals that a DAQ system can measure.

•Data acquisition is the process of collecting and measuring electrical signals and sending them to a Bluetooth dongle for processing.

•• Electrical signals comes from Transducers.

WORKING DATA ACQUISITION is the process of sampling signals that

measure real world physical conditions and converting the resulting samples into digital numeric values that can be manipulated by a computer.

Data acquisition systems (abbreviated with the acronym DAS or DAQ) typically convert analog waveforms into digital values for easy processing.

The components of data acquisition systems include:Sensors that convert physical parameters to electrical signals.

Analog-to-digital converters, which convert conditioned sensor signals to digital values.

CONCLUSION

o Data acquisition systems typically convert analog Physical condition into digital values for easy processing.

o DAS is advantageous as we can store a lot of physical condition data in digitized form

o Today DAS is used in almost every field, industry and companies.
