Bissell vacuum cleaners

September 1, 2014 by Jason Roberts — 5 Comments

When it comes to cleaning, all you need is the right

assortment of tools that will make it easy for you; otherwise

it will seem an utterly demanding job. Bissell is one of the

global cleaning companies that have stepped in to ensure

that cleaning is ABC easy for you. This is a family-owned

business which has withstood market challenges

for over five generations. With more than 138

years of existence and ultimately, experience, in the

cleaning industry, it is a partner that you can trust. As you

know, I am particularly fond of family-driven businesses, I

consider this the best business model and thus, I believe

Bissell has an important word to say in the near future of the cleaning industry. Bissell is not a small player: some of their

products have been sold in millions throughout the US and Europe. Without wasting any more time, let’s check out some

key facts about this company and its appliances.

History of Bissell

It all started in 1876 from two people: Melville R. Bissell and his wife Anna. They owned a crockery shop in Michigan, and

were constantly forced to clean some sawdust from the shop’s carpet. It was such a tedious exercise but to their help, Melville

came up with an extraordinary carpet sweeper which he later patented. Soon, friends and potential customers began

inquiring where they could find this unique sweeper and the business just started booming.

Melville Bissell passed on in 1889, and there was no doubt that his wife Anna was taking over the leadership of this great

company. Becoming the first female CEO in America, she aggressively marketed the sweepers and defended their patents to

the best of her abilities. The manual carpet shampooer was introduced in 1956 by this company, and the act of scrubbing

carpets with hands on bended knees was no longer necessary.

This was followed by a dramatic turn of events in 1979 when the first deep cleaning machine was introduced.

Having a team of dedicated engineers on board, the sustained growth of this cleaning company was far from fading. Their

expertise could soon be reflected through the efficiency of every little machine that Bissell invented. In the late 1980s, they

came with another innovation, this time a deep cleaner that was never tethered to an internal water source. This made

carpet cleaning more convenient than ever.

Till today, Bissell is a family-owned business dedicated to help you clean the home easily and effectively. Whether the mess

is cat hair, chocolate, red wine or even baby foods spills, the company is in place to help you embrace the mess, eliminate it

and live a comfortable life. Over time, the range of products offered by this company has expanded extensively as outlined

below.

Vacuum cleaners Bissell remains the best producer of vacuum cleaning appliances globally. With nearly a century and a half of

Hello

Have be considering ideas for some time and have attempted to word some of them to credible possibility in my

seen light of work experiences and well I would like to share another one that is seemingly possible when we

look into our market of purchase today.

It is there we are starting to see a shift towards the ability to use without cord and well there are some that have

made the transistion already as dyson has a small wand type that has the cordless ability and Black and Decker is

another with a car household version hand held and well so the idea here is nothing new but lets go to the floor

model.

Now with the floor model we are going to need a larger power and stranger power source is assumed due to what

is known as a wattage draw.

Now in the Dyson and Black and Decker they are light duty types which indicates smaller sized motors and a

lighter design meaning a lighter material interior to which is where the difference in wattage draw is found due

what is called wire gauge size.

So my line of thinking with the floor model due to this known to me and with some experience as an on site

electricians apprentice well I have thought of it in this light after a pause to consider it seeing the others advance

Page 8: Bissell vacuum cleaners reviews -vacuumreviewcenter.com

forward and for me in the market sense of seeing it an introductory state of finding well Black and Decker came

before Dyson ok.

Now with the floor model as there are various types it is seen that the base is a place to consider battery

mounting and well in case of that ease of use longer hosing could be considered maybe as a means of

compensation but as a battery to be used the motor cycle battery is somewhat smaller and lighter and so it can

be a close call as the weight and freedom are both against each other to the user especially as age comes into

the users position of use for the product.

Now as with both Dyson and Black and Decker the thought of being able to place it in a receptacle like they do

with those ones mentioned is another attraction to the user who would only half to place it back into a neck

harness sort of thing that is wall plug mounted and the just be able to take and use with confidence of power

there for their pleasure of use.

So some sort of collar plug mounted wall plug assembly for a convience of maintaining a full charge.

On the neck of most floor models there is that power head attachment which for certain models may be

attractive and cheap to consider for this idea of change and as for other models the plate contact type or even

female type to accept prong plug can be easily added to present state without too much need to change molding

when considering their fabrication of.

So a complete add for the recharge part and can be based on already proven existing market brands as said

within this statement of consideration from a person with an opinion and as well a common user of the product

as stairs well for me there is my argfuement.

Now as for battery well motorcycles have a high need of reliance on their battery and well most usual hosehold

uses are approximatel an hour in a spaced interval and sometimes a bit more as folks drag them out of doors for

car cleaning as you know shop vacuums are out there but some sense within the consumer market there are still

homes with just the one but consideration comes every year you know now that is a joke to lighten the thought

about want but remember those are not battery yet either.

So myself the lawn tractor battery seems most realistic in ability but is a bit of weight issue and maybe if it had a

lighter casing,

Then you hear about those computer type batteries and wonder what if maybe two or three of them wired

together as they could be and be enough to deliver what we need and still be the ideal with weight as they are

lighter and that is because they are smaller and well even thinner

The above diagram shows us how we can do that as suggested use more than one battery ok.

So considering the computer battery has now come into it and would keep us in the weight consideration for the

user and wired as shown it also doubles the value suggesting we may just be able to try it on models of the floor

size.

Page 9: Bissell vacuum cleaners reviews -vacuumreviewcenter.com

Now another product that comes to mind is the Bissell floor cleaner but it would probably be best using the lawn

tractor battery as it means given it’s higher power demand and as well may want a method of recharging the

battery while in use which would then take that product way beyond a price on all parties to want to be

interested in.

So my logic is mostly towards the floor model vacuum as it has a lower demand and sa shorter expected service

on a daily basis than the carpet cleaner and the computer battery is a battery worth considering with the

diagram given here to you as gotten off the internet as hard to use pencils in this form of letter writing and the

ability of adding a collar type charger for the idea as seen within the Dyson and Black and Decker known models

as an example to go by are easy enough on present state models of floor type vacuums and battery placement

should be easy enough as well when looking at the base structure of where they are made to floor type with the

hose able to be removed from some bases or the hose is to a wand from a working base.

Well hope you find this interesting enough

Thank you for your time that you may give in reading and look forward to hearing back from you sincerely

Dear Donald, unfortunately, there is an issue you haven’t considered: the cost. Having better batteries

implies bigger production costs. From what I’ve seen so for, the best batteries for these type of

appliances last around 5 years. With the current product life cycle rate, 5 years is a target set by

producers, not consumers. Manufacturers need people to buy new products as often as possible. This

encourages consumerism, not progress. It’s just how economy works these days.

Hi Mr Roberts

Do you know if the Bissell big Green would work to clean indoor concrete? I don’t know if the roller brush

would reach far enough to toich the ground.

Thanks Mona

Dear Mona, the Bissell Big Green is a carpet cleaner, so it works well on carpets. For

bare floors (including concrete), you can use a Hoover Floormate (SpinScrub or Deluxe), or a

steam mop. If the surface is porous, vacuuming should be enough.
