FINDING INFORMATION ON WEBPAGES
• You have 20 minutes to scan and summarise all of the following websites. Make brief notes as you go along. You should work in pairs.

• Save the Guinea Worm
BEING A CRITICAL USER
• Questions to ask of all the websites that you visit for information• Who has written the website?• What is it about? Is it factual?• Does the URL help confirm reliability? Is it a personal page?• When was it last updated? Is that recent enough to still be
valid?• Where does the information originate from?• What sites link to / from the website?• Why has the author written the information?• How good is the information
