Phonics

We do 20 minutes of phonics daily.

We learnt the ea sound for meat and the the ea sound for head.

Phonics

In June there is a phonics screening check this will be done by Miss Brett-Smith.

We will be carrying out a mock check over the next few days.

Within this there are 40 words covering all of the phonics phases. Half of these words are alien words, which means the children must use their phonics to read them.
