Wildlife in Utah
Introduction
Wild animals can be found living in various habitat’s on our planet. Habitats are areas that a specific animal’s live in. Most animals are only adapted to live in one or two types of habitats. For example, a salt water fish could not live in a fresh water pond and a snake could not live in the Antarctic. Some animals migrate to warmer habitats during the spring and fall where there is more food. Utah has three different habitat’s desert, forest, and wetland each habitat has different animals living in them. Your job as a Conservationist is to find a way to preserve one of the animal species found in Utah to prevent the animal from becoming extinct.
