Summary Objec�vesWikisare simple to use, asynchronous,web-based collabora�ve hypertext authoringsystems.Recently,Wikishavebeenwidelyusedin various sectors and levels of educa�on, astheycanenhancecollabora�velearning.

In a wiki-based learning scenario, par�cipantsco-editwebpages.Duringsuchprocesses,peerinterac�on can mo�vate par�cipants, whoconstructsynergicallysharedknowledge.

Within common learning scenarios,par�cipantsfromdifferenteduca�onalsectors,cultures and ages (schools, universi�es,professional andadult training)will learnhowto use wikis for their socio-professionaldevelopment.

The project will develop, implement andevaluate an innova�ve training curriculumfocusingonhow tomake thebestuseofwikienvironments in educa�onal se�ngs, so toreach high learning objec�ves and foster acommunityoflearnersamongEurope.

Provide opportuni�es for meaningfulcollabora�velearningac�vi�es;

Promote digital literacy, as well as socialskills,wri�ngskillsandcri�calthinking;

Developasustainablevirtualcommunityofprac�ce among the different projectcountries;

Enable educa�onal communi�es tocontribute to the actual informa�onsociety;

Empowercivicbehaviours,social inclusion,employabilityandculturalunderstanding.

WikiSkills promotes innova�ve pedagogicalapproaches that foster crea�vity,compe��veness, employability andentrepreneurial spirit, equity, social cohesionandac�veci�zenship.
