Whole Faculty Study Groups Job-embedded, self-directed, student-driven approach to professional development Faculty members will be broken into small groups where we will deliberate our target areas and center them on student needs and classroom instruction. Our primary focus is increased student learning

Dynamics of WFSG Process Guidelines Groups no more than 6 Composition doesnt matter Keep a regular schedule Establish group norms Agree on a written study group action plan Complete a study group log Encourage each other Establish leadership rotation All members have equal status Have a curricular or instructional focus Plan ahead for transitions Make a comprehensive list of learning resources, both material and human Include training in the study groups agenda Evaluate the effectiveness of the study group, using the intended results in the action plan
