Questionnaire

To find out my audiences view on the documentary and other opinions, I

produced a questionnaire to find out how my audience reacted. I asked a

variety of questions to get knowledge of bad and good points about my

documentary.

The age interested who

watched the documentary

were a variety. The age

limited from 5 to over 51.

This can show that a range

of ages are interested in

history and how there may

b secrets that the

government does not tell

us. The age that watched

the documentary the most

were the people over 51,

this was our target

audience as well as young

adults. W achieved this by

having viewers who were

19 to 30 at a high rating.

the information.

Would you watch another documentary

with the same similarities to this one?

Yes No

Mostly ¾ of the

viewers who watched

my documentary said

they would watch a

similar documentary.

This shows that my

documentary was

engaging and informal

to the viewers as they

liked watching it and

how they react to

wanting to watch a

similar one.

Did the flow of the documentary contrast

with what it was trying to inform?.

Yes No

Mostly everyone who

answered said the flow of

the documentary

contrasted with what it

was trying to inform. This

shows that the editing of

the documentary was

performed well and the

transitions were achieved

to professional standards.

Series 1 Column2

The editing of the

documentary was

performed well to inform

the audience the

information produced

throughout the

documentary. The

interviews are shown to

be informal and detailed

for the audience with b-

rolls and photos edited

over them to make them

more understandable for

the audience to know

what the interviewer is on

about.

What have I learn from the feed back?

From the feed back, I have learnt that the editing of my documentary was

well performed and that it helped produce the information more to be more

informal and engaging at the same time. From the feed back I understand

that some people are not interested into history or about war and that’s why

some of the results had no’s or negative comments.

The people who were interested liked the interviews and how some can tell a

story, then some can give important factual information. I believe that people

find b-rolls helpful when presenting a piece of documentary to help imagine

what the person in the video is talking about or to give more of a informal

presentation on what the person maybe describing.

From this I have learnt that editing skills are needed to create a documentary

to make it engaging and informal for the viewer.
