What Is Statistics?We will study four major themes this
year:
Collecting Data - Surveys, Studies, and Experiments
Describing Data - Graphical and Numerical Analysis
Probability - The Study of Chance Behavior
Inference - Making Conclusions Based on Data
The AP ExamI will be preparing you for the AP Statistics Exam Friday, May 9, from noon to 4:00.
3 hours – 40 Multiple Choice Questions5 Free-Response Questions1 “Investigative Task”
The AP ExamYou CAN be successful on this exam IF you put forth the effort ALL SEMESTER LONG. You cannot wait until the last 2 weeks to get serious.
I will provide you with LOTS of preparation materials as well as insight from the grading of the exam.
I need YOU to provide the effort...

• Graphing Calculator (TI83+ or TI84+)• 2 glue sticks or scotch tape• Ruler• Hole reinforcements• Pen and pencil and a good eraser• Highlighters of different colors and/or colored
