Before I started the MCBS program, I was in TV Production in my high school.
Date
It was a major part of my high school career.
Date
I had always thought I wanted to be the director for Good Morning America.
Date
I had fallen in love with the process of writing, directing, shooting, and editing the show.
Date
But then I had a change of heart and decided I want to be an anchor instead.
Date
I loved the process, but didn’t think I could handle the day to day stress.
Date
Because of that, I did not know if I should have changed out of the Film program into Media Communications.
Date
I knew the Film program was mainly for editing, directing, lighting, etc. and knew they did not offer anything for Journalism.
Date
Because of that, I spoke with my student advisor, and he suggested that I make the switch.
Date
I really did not know what to do, I needed help.
Date
Because of that, I am now in the Media Communications program.
Date
And I am now surrounded by people that understand my true passion.
Date
Until finally I will graduate in the Spring of 2015.
Date
After that, I look forward to a long and successful career in broadcast journalism.
Date
And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I feel as if a weight has lifted off of my shoulders, because I now know what I want to do for the rest of my
life.
Date
It has always been so stressful trying to figure it out.
