Dylan upsets Lily because he was too afraid to admit his feelings for her.

He talks to his dad about it who tells him he just need ‘20 seconds of courage’ to make it all better.

A storm starts and Dylan sees Lily’s sign on the café door.

He then goes running to her house in the lashing rain.

The rain adds a dramatic effect to the scene and a romantic feel.

Lily is sitting in her room

Dylan walks up to her window repeating “20 seconds of courage, 20 seconds of courage”

He tells her he missed her and he loves her.

There is a close up on Elle Fanning’s face and her eyes fill with tears.

The close up is effective as it shows us what the character is feeling.

The scene ends with the two hugging through the window in the rain.
