Life makes us all different. And this fact makes the world an amazing place. Everybody is individual but still we all are equal, we have to. But nowadays some people think that they are better than others. This is a big problem of our society.

1) There are not so many people with disabilities in our community. But some of us have known such people.

2) Pampariova Adriana knows a girl, she is 7 years old. Popa Cristina knows a 17 years old boy. Bandarenco Marina knows an old man of 55. Cebotari Iulia has known a 30 years old person. Revencco Cristina is familiar with a person of 16 and another person of 27.

3) The majority of us think that schools in our country discriminate children with disabilities.

4) We think that schools in our country discriminate students with disabilities because there are no special types of trainings for them. The other students are not taught not to discriminate them. There are no special bars that would help those who can’t walk to go upstairs. There aren’t any special teachers that would take care of those who have mental disorders.

5) In our opinion the society discriminates people with disabilities because the majority of normal people think that if they are healthy they are more important. They think that since they have more possibilities, they are above those with disabilities. Another reason of discrimination is the fact that such a behavior is a part of people. They get it from birth. They learn it from parents. It is in human mentality. Discrimination is a stereotype made by society. And it proves the absence of education. People dislike persons with disabilities because of their look, appearance, their talk. But, in fact, it doesn’t have to be a problem.

6) If we had a friend with disabilities, we would encourage him or her. We would teach him how to ignore people’s unfair behavior. We would help and support him or her. And in

Page 3: We are all the same

our opinion our friendly and fair behavior would change other people’s opinion about persons with disabilities.

7) Students have to respect such people. They have to organize different events for them. Students have to invite such people to hang out with them. At the same time students have to inform and to advice other people to stop discrimination. And students have to get involved in the situations when people with disabilities are discriminated no matter if it is at school or in the street.

8) First of all teachers must not discriminate students with special needs. In our opinion it is an important rule that a teacher has to follow. Then teacher has to stop injustice in class. To avoid or to stop situations when students are laughing at such a person or when such a person is bullied by students.

9) Some of us have seen such people with disabilities to be discriminated at school. Sometimes we see it in the street. Very often it happens in public transportation.

It is a problem of our society. And when we are talking about it we understand how wrong our behavior is and we feel the need to change the world!!!!
