How to be a ModeratorSchedule with BTC Library (Barb Satushek) minimum of two weeks in advance
Gather ITV technical contact information from each participant
Communicate with participants and send reminder
Arrive 15-30 minutes early
Start with a role call and sound check
Make sure everyone knows how to mute and unmute the microphone. May need to remind participants
Troubleshoot—hang up and call again Have everyone mute their micsHave participants call their local

Asides do not work. Camera will focus on you every time you speak.

Test your microphone
Mute your microphone when not speaking
If there are many locations connected, start by stating
your name and institution
Remember the delay between speaking and hearing.
