Blogger YouTube Google Blogger is a blog storage service that allows private or multi-user

blogs with time-stamped entries. It is funded by on-screen ads. It was created by Pyra Labs which was bought by Google in 2003. It is a blog publishing tool from Google for easily sharing your thoughts with the world. Blogger makes it simple to post text, photos and videos etc.

I used blogger to post all my posts up on there and to post my videos, audience feedback and photos of my magazine and poster.

YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view videos. Three former PayPal employees created YouTube in February 2005. In November 2006, YouTube, LLC was bought by Google. for $1.65 billion, and is now operated as a subsidiary of Google. The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging and short original videos. Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, although media corporations including CBS, the BBC, UMG and other organizations offer some of their material via the site, as part of the YouTube partnership program.

Unregistered users can watch the videos, while registered users are permitted to upload an unlimited number of videos.

I used YouTube to research my soap trailer and I also embedded the soap trailers onto my blogger.

Many compact digital still cameras can record sound and moving video as well as still photographs. Most 21st century cameras are digital.

I used the Digital camera to take pictures of my location shots and took pictures for my magazine cover and my poster, it was really easy to use this because i could easily delete any pictures I wanted and to take a picture is only one click away.

A video camera is a camera used for electronic motion picture acquisition, initially developed by the television industry but now common in other applications as well.

The video camera was one of the most important piece of technology that I used, this is because this to film all my soap trailer and it was easy to use and it was convenient to know that I could see what I was filming at the same time.

Final Cut Express is a non-linear video editing application created by Apple Inc. It is the consumer version of Final Cut Pro and is designed for advanced editing of digital video as well as high-definition video, which is used by many amateur and professional videographers.

Final cut was also another very important piece of technology I used. Without this I wouldn’t be able to create my soap trailer. With this i used different types of effects and motions to create what I wanted to create.

Adobe InDesign is a software application produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines and books. Designers and graphics production artists are the principal users, creating and laying out periodical publications, posters, and print media. The Adobe In Copy word processor uses the same formatting engine as InDesign.

Photoshop has strong ties with other Adobe software for media editing, animation, and authoring. The .PSD (Photoshop Document), Photoshop's native format, stores an image with support for most imaging options available in Photoshop. These include layers with masks, colour spaces, ICC profiles, transparency, text, alpha channels and spot colours, clipping paths, and duotone settings. This is in contrast to many other file formats (e.g. .EPS or .GIF) that restrict content to provide streamlined, predictable functionality.Photoshop's popularity means that the .PSD format is widely used, and it is supported to some extent by most competing software. The .PSD file format can be exported to and from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects, to make professional standard DVDs and provide non-linear editing and special effects services, such as backgrounds, textures, and so on, for television, film, and the Web. Photoshop is a pixel-based image editor, unlike programs such as Macromedia FreeHand (now defunct), Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape or CorelDraw, which are vector-based image editors.
