… led to record turnout for CSIA’s “2014 Servicing Gas Hearth Appliances class.”

All gas-fired, certified fireplaces manufactured after January 1, 2015 will include a safety screen that must be installed.

National Chimney Sweep Guild Members use Yahoo Groups to connect on current industry issues and assist each other with technical questions

CSIA is upholding its public safety mission … with media outreach, as awareness of chimney sweeps in U.S. still a challenge (homeowners will hire general contractors) … as well as connecting firefighters with a free new brochure unveiled in April 2014 in Indianapolis, IN at Fire Department Instructors Conference … reaching out to home inspectors
