ISTVS Focus 7th Regional Americas Conference was focused on highlighting ERDC, NASA, and TARDEC research efforts. 2009 started development of combined ASA-CSSA-SSSA and ISTVS special session. Significant investment in the combined conference.

New collaboration efforts With Mr. John Hamilton of Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCES). Significant Cost Savings Related to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) Research Activities Continued Collaboration with Dr. Paul Ayres, University of Tennessee and Dr. Corina Sandu at Virginia Tech.

Attended unique ASA presentations on Urban Soils. Participated in CSSA sessions on transgenic plant breeding. Interaction with historic partners attending ASA-CSSA-SSSA (USDA, Univ. IL, Univ. SD, Purdue, etc).
