  13. 13. Going to for intention We use going to when we have the intention to do something before we speak. We have already made a decision before speaking. Examples: Jack is going to draw the dinosaur. Ben and Lisa are going to look at the fossils. We are going to see the blue whale in Gallery23.
  14. 14. Going to for prediction We often use going to to make a prediction about the future. Our prediction is based on present evidence. We are saying what we think will happen. Examples: There is going to be a terrible accident! He is going to be a brilliant politician. I am going to have terrible indigestion.

  16. 16. Mr. White : Jack, what are you going to do? Jack : Im going to draw the dinosaur. Mr. White :Thats a good idea. And what about you, Ben? Ben : Im going to look at the fossils.   19. 19. Direction: Make a group of three people. Choose your favorite gallery by using the conversation as a guideline on the board. Then come to do role play in front of class.
  20. 20. Situation: You and your friends are supposed to be a group of traveller at the museum. It is very big and therere many galleries in the museum. You and your friends are standing at the entrance of the museum, and sharing which part you are going to. Example Jack: Hey Jo and Jan!! Jo: Hi Jack, Where are you going? Jack: I am going to the museum. Jack: And about you, Jan? Jan: I am going to look at the draw dinosaur in Gallery 4. Jack: Jan and Jo, what are you going to do? Jack: Jo: ..
  21. 21. Directions: 1. Receive the discussion wheel from teacher. 2. Put a cross on the line next to the sentence according to how much you agree or disagree with it. Put a cross near the center of the circle, if you disagree with it. Put a cross near the edge of the circle, if you agree with it. Put a cross half way along the line, if you undecided.
