The genre of music I have chosen is POP, this is because I enjoy listening to pop music and believe I can work with pop better than if I were to choose a different genre

I believe that this genre was most effective in attracting my audience as within my targets daily lives they will listen to this genre of music, this is because it is played through the radio and also in TV programmes. I also believe that the audience which I have chosen is stereotypically attracted to this genre of music, this will help me in attracting the audience as I have been able to refer to professional magazines for some inspiration on how to perhaps attract an audience most effectively.

- The shot types which I used within my

magazine are close up shots and medium

close up shots. I then went on to edit my

images so that the model would look like

a super model so that the audience will

buy the magazine as they will want to be

able to look like the model.

- The model I used was a female model as

my target audience will be able to relate

to a female model and therefore make it

easier to create a role model out of the

specific person.

- The costume and props I used were very

bare and minimal, this is because I wanted

the audience to focus on who the ‘celebrity’

is and how they can be like her too.

- The edits which I included was removing small

blemishes and inconsistencies from the models

appearance. This shows the audience how they

perhaps could look if they were to buy the magazine

and they would get tips from within.

What kind of marketing campaigns do you think would attract your audience when your magazine is released?

The marketing campaigns which I would use are TV adverts. This is because it will appear on a very popular activity for my target audience. This will show them the magazine in more detail, they are also more likely to see the magazine on TV than any other marketing campaign.

Who’s new on the scene?”This is my headline on my front cover, I have made the decision to not include a cover line as I believe that if the audience is left hanging with just a rhetorical question they are more likely to pick up the magazine and read inside to find out more!

My double page spread story attracts my audience as it shows how the celebrity featured has made their name and also advice to the audience on how to be successful and how they can possibly make their name!
