Case study 9Seeing Student Thinking and Building a Space for

Collaborative Faculty Curriculum Development

Summary:

-Whitney Schlegel uses case-based teaching to engage students and allow for uncertainty to be a part of the science classroom.

- Student teams built eportfolios, documenting both the processes and content of their learning.

- Access was then given to all students so they could all engage in cross-group discussion and learn from each other.
