Introduction (1.1 & 1.5) I've been asked to design a magazine

called City Life. I will take some pictures of salford quays and use it in my further magazine. I will focus on taking pictures of: The Lowry, BBC, Vue Cinema. In my magazine I`ll create the cover, the contents page and double page spread.

1.6 File Formats

In my magazine I will use JPEG format.Advantages:Are the best file format to save any picturesCameras automatically save pictures in this format you can edit them in the things like PhotoshopDisadvantages inability to save the animations

1.6 File Formats I will save my magazine in PDF format. Advantages: Consistent look on most computers. Smaller file size PDFs are good for forms and manuals because

the layout will faithfully reproduce your original document

Disadvantages: Large files can be slower to download than HTML You can not open PDF file without Photoshop

PSD PSD file is a layered image file used in Adobe PhotoShop. PSD,

which stands for Photoshop Document, is the default format that Photoshop uses for saving data.

Advantages: PSD files can handle simple vector layers The pictures in PSD looks more professional than in PDF. Can preserve layers Disadvantages:  PSD files tend to be extremely large Do not distribute PSD files unless you are doing a Photoshop tutorial

or something You can go back, at anytime, to make changes to the layers

I will save my magazine as PDF I will save my magazine as PDF because

pictures in PDF has a small size and looks very professional.

I think my pictures meets the clients needs because they looks very professional after editing in Photoshop.

All of the images are in PDF format. I think It is in high quality.Yes some of my pictures promote SCC.
