BRAILA

•  is a city in Muntenia, 

eastern Romania, a port on the Danube and the capital of Braila county.

During the 19th century, the port

became one of the three most important

ports on the Danube in Wallachia.

The city's greatest period of prosperity was at the end of the 19th century and in the early 20th century, when it was an important port for most of the merchandise coming in and going out of Romania.

The Balta Mică a Brăilei Natural Park is a protected area, situated in Braila County.The Natural Park is located in the inferior course of the Danube, between the Brăila Plain and Great Braila Island, in the south-eastern part of country;

Scoala Gimnaziala RomanuOur school is located in a village, 20 km

away from the city of Braila. It is a small school, with 240 pupils, and 17 teachers.

The building enhances 8 classrooms and one IT Laboratory,a gymnasium and a stadium next to our school.

Leisure activities

• Pupils enjoy playing handball within our sportive association

• Our folklore dances ensemble, brings awards to our school each time they participate to dance festivals.
