V. DIDACTIC SEQUENCY:

INPUT: 25 MINUTES Teacher greets students “Good morning “and asks how they feel today “How are you today?” Teacher makes students remember what they did last class. (Feedback). Teacher shows a video and students guess the topic. Teacher shows some pictures of some cities. Teacher asks questions about the pictures. Teacher encourages students to participate in class. Students give their ideas. (brainstorming) Teacher gives some wordcards and student match with the correct picture.

PROCESS: 45 MINUTES Teacher plays a game where students have to answer quickly the quantity of things that there are

in the pictures. Teacher explains the Grammar: “plural nouns” and rules about this one. Teacher shows some pictures of some cities. Teacher makes to students give some examples using the grammar. Students write on the board their examples. Teacher asks some questions about touristic attractions around the world like: “Eifel Tower”;

“Pyramids” ; “The status of Freedom” “Machu Picchu” and so on. Teacher asks to students give ideas of the capitals of some countries. Teachers explain the grammar of “Verb to be – plural”. Students do an exercises using grammar rules. Students listen to an audio to get general information and check their answers. Students listen to the audio about more plural nouns.OUTPUT: 25 MINUTES Students write sentences about countries and places and practice the pronunciation in pairs. Teacher divides the group of students into three teams: team 1, team 2 and team 3. Teacher makes students write sentences using the grammar rules as fast as they can write. Students say the sentences that they have written.

METACOGNITION Students answer these questions:

What did we learn today? Did you understand today’s lesson?

HOMEWORK: Write five sentences about tourist places in other countries with a respective picture.
