The growth of industry during 1800s gave an influence onagriculture revolution. Inventors found ways to make machines do farmwork. There are some machines that plough the land and the othersdestroy weeds, pick the crop, and so on.

Before the invention of the tractor, farm machines were almost runby animals. Some Inventors finally created farm tractors which are farmore efficient and more powerful than what animals can do. They do notrequire as much care as animals. Besides, tractors can work all daywithout a rest.

Dear Ana,

There are a lot of transportations nowadays: The traditional ones, themodern ones, and the small ones. All of them play important roles forpeople.

The workers and the students can come on time to their offices andtheir school by public transportation, their own cars, buses, taxis, ormotorcycles. The housewives who do some shopping can carry theirgoods by becak (pedicab), taxis, or horse-pulled carts. The businessmencan travel to do their business or attend meetings in a long distance byairplanes or trains.

The ships carry either products for exports and imports or passengers.The trucks or lorries and the vans carry goods from ships, factories, farms,or ranches to markets. In small villages people use a horse or a canoe tocarry their crops or other goods.

According to the agent, the bus that would take me to my

destination was air-conditioned and had reclining seats. The

bus was also equipped with toilet and video.

At about 4 in the afternoon I arrived at the bus station and

I must point out that the bus was really different from the

one told by your agent. The bus was not equipped with the

air conditioner. It didn’t have reclining seats either. I

complained about this, but the agent just said that it was

the last bus to leave that day. I didn’t have any choice at all.

It was a nightmare for me to be on your bus. Telling you the
