1.Not following the Instructions properly : On of the prime reasons why your application may get rejected is because of your negligence to follow the instructions properly. Remember that the rules are to be followed and no top university compromises on that. If it supposed to be a 200 words essay, so be it. Better safe than sorry.

2.Application filled with stereotype facts : You need to understand that the Admission officers are not going to be impressed if you write how their School is going to help you achieve your dreams. Just mentioning facts like I am hard working, team player etc. will not help your case. 3.Last minute filled up Application form : Every perfect thing takes its own time to come into existence and if you want to make your application picture perfect, avoid the last minute rush as it is going to land you no where. 4.Avoiding writing your own essay : A lot of students think that since no one is watching therefore they can copy the essay from the internet and submit it. If the Admission officers figure out that you have done this , your application form is straight away heading towards the rejected candidates file.

5.Not zeroing on the programs : It is important that you fill up only those application form which you seriously intend to pursue. Multiple form fill ups do not always guarantee that you might hit one or the other colleges. Also one needs to understand that such filled up forms are not complete because of lack of serious effort and are rejected by the admission officers.

6.Unsuccessful in laying down a clear picture : Your application form must lay down a clear picture of who you are, what do you aspire to become and what is you plan of action for the same. You need to be authentic and honest with what you say.
