Thriller ResearchThriller is a genre of literature, film, and television programming that uses suspense, tension , excitement and anticipation as its main elements.
A thriller will contain the sudden rush of emotion, excitement, and exhilaration.

CharactersCharacters may often include:•Stalkers •Assassins•Innocent victims•Menaces women•Spree killers•Sociopaths•Agents•Terrorists•Cops•Escaped Cons•People involved in twisted relationships
Story and setting•The protagonist in these films is set a problem, or an escape, mission or mystery.•No matter what type of sub-genre a thriller may fall into, it will emphasise the danger that the protagonist is facing.•The cover up of important information from the viewer, and fight and chase scenes are all common methods used in all thriller subgenres•The tension usually arises when the character(s) is placed in a dangerous situation or potentially deadly situation•Thrillers emphasises the puzzle aspect of the plot. There are clues that the reader or viewer will be able to pick up on or determine the solution at about the same times as the main character
Thrillers take place mostly in:•Ordinary suburbs and cities•Exotic settings- foreign cities, deserts, polar regions
