UKOER Programme

• Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for

England (HEFCE) between 2009 – 2012.

• Only English Higher Education institutions could bid.

• Managed by Jisc and HEA and supported by Cetis.

• Invested over £10 million.

• Funded over 80 individual projects.

• Aimed at releasing OERs and embedding sustainable

open practice in institutions.
