THE EGYPTIAN EMPIRE PHARAOHS According to Manetho, Egypt was ruled by various dynasties of pharaohs, usually successive time , which reigned over three millennia in the territory of the Nile valley between the Mediterranean ( Nile Delta ) sea and the " first waterfall " ( Aswan ), dominating or exerting great influence on the surrounding areas such as the territories of Sinai, Canaan and Syria, to the northeast , oases of Libya to the west , and Kush (Nubia ) south regions. Tut-Ank- Amun (sometimes called King Tut) was a Pharaoh (like a king) of Ancient Egypt from about 1334 BC to 1323 BC. He became Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty (royal family) during the New Kingdom at 9 years old. Tut ruled only 9 years and died very young, at 18, so he is known as The Boy King. He was married to his half-sister Ankhesenamun, daughter of Queen Nefertiti, his stepmother

Cleopatra Filopator Nea Thea or Cleopatra VII, was the last queen of Egypt and the polemic dynasty also called Lágida founded by Ptolomeo I Soler, a general of Alejandro Magno was the last of the so called Hellenistic period of Egypt. To Cleopatra has been attributed exceptional beauty, however her charm lay in her personality rather than her body. Cleopatra died at 36 years old, The ancient sources, including the Romans, agree that Cleopatra poisoned herself with a snake.

HATSHEPSPUT

Hatshepsut was born in Tebas, Egypt. She had 3 brothers but they died when their father died. Her father succession to the throne past to Hatshepsut but her dreams were unfilled because she married her stepbrother tuthmosis II.

HASHEPSPUT

He had a son, Thutmosis III, with a minor wife, when Thutmosis II died in 1479 B.C. his son tuthmosis III, was appointed his heir. However, Hatshepsut was appointed regent due to the boys young age. They ruler together until 1473 B.C. when she declared herself pharaoh.
