• The Czech Republic consists of three parts: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia.

• Formation – 1st January 1993• Entry into the European Union - 1st

May 2004• It borders on Austria, Poland,

Germany and Slovakia• Population: more than 10 milion

people• It has 14 regions
