• Early Decision is BINDING- You MUST attend the college or university. If accepted, you must withdraw any applications sent to other schools and decline acceptance offers including any financial aid packages associated with acceptance.
• Early Action is NOT Binding- It allows you to compare admissions/financial aid and scholarship offers. You MAY apply early, but typically you will not have to make a decision until approximately May 1st.

Complete transcript request form (this form can be picked up from your counselor or the main guidance office).
Hand deliver transcript request form, transcript request fee and any necessary forms from college/university to your counselor. Please allow ten (10) school days for processing. Your counselor will have office hours posted on her door.It is the student’s responsibility to check the college/university websites to verify all of the required items have been received.

“Where can I find scholarships?”
Searching for Scholarships• Only scholarship information sent to Grassfield High School
will be publicized through Peachjar until the link to the guidance portion of the Grassfield High School website.
• Students and parents should search for additional scholarships via the web.
• Students should check for new scholarships at least once a week.
• Some scholarships applications can only be accessed through the Internet and need to be submitted electronically.
• Carefully read the detailed instructions for each scholarship as well as the eligibility and submission requirements…every scholarship is different!!!
Submitting ScholarshipsComplete transcript request form. This form can be obtained from your counselor or in the main guidance office.
The student MUST hand deliver the transcript request form, $2.00/transcript fee and any necessary forms to his/her counselor.
You must allow TEN (10) school days forYour counselor to process transcriptrequests and necessary forms.
