Vision

• My vision is to create a plan where my school would train teachers to teach students about Internet safety, netiquette, cyberbullying, and how to take care of computers.

• Train staff in:

• Making sure students understand how to safely use the Internet.

• Teaching students about Netiquette.

• Teaching students about Cyberbullying.

• Teaching students how to care for computers.

• Teachers will be using computers to learn.

• Students will be using computers to learn.

• Technology will be used throughout the school year.

• Teachers will explore websites containing important information about Internet safety, Netiquette, cyberbullying, and how to care for computers (used for information gathering).

Initial Steps to Implement Plan

•Find a trained expert on Internet Safety.

•Choose day to do technology integration initiative.

•Teachers will go through PowerPoint with instructor and reflect on how to implement what they have learned in each section.

•Teachers will share information with students at beginning of school year.

Long Range Plans to Continue or Revise the Plan

• Make training available every year or every other year.

• Teachers must incorporate this information into their lesson plans each year.

• Internet permission forms must be signed each year.
