Technology is a tool not a teacher replacement.
Tool for learning, used in class by the teacher.
Teachers guide classes according to theme and objectives integrating technology.

NEEDS: Money
investment and attention.
Teachers´s training .
Students´s guidance.
Follow up .
TECHNOLOGY IN GUATEMALAN EDUCATION
Teachers never use technology in their classes
Public schools has not a full access to technology tools.
Ignorance in using technology.
Not interest in develop new skills.
Not enough time, training resources.
GUATEMALAN EDUCATION REALITY
More emphasis on building user trust.
Create great excitement among the teachers as to the idea of using technology in their classes.
If funds are limited, other technology needs should be placed.
Integrating technology into the curriculum.
Develop a trust between the technology support staff and the teachers during the initial stages of the implementation.
SUCCESFUL TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION
