On the left you can see my basic non detailed front page idea. This layout this will include features such as the main image in order to grab the readers attention mast head which includes name of the magazine, cover stories to entice the audience to buy the magazine and read throughout as well as cover lines and the barcode allowing it to be scanned at a shop for purchase.

Red and black house style/ colour scheme this will be used throughout the magazine in order to create the theme of aggression which is proven to link in and relate to the genre of our magazine.

Medium Close up shot image of artist this will present the artist from shoulder and above this allows the audience to focus on features such as facial expression this will fill the page not just the text box.

This will be where the magazine logo will be located for the purpose of the magazine the logo will be in Red as I believe it will stand out from the dark background and co-ordinate with the house style.

This will be the cover line of the magazine which is implemented into the magazine in order to encourage the audience to but and read on throughout the magazine.

This page shows the basic layout of a typical contents page on which mine will be modelled on. The contents page will include a main heading letting the audience know that this is indeed the contents page. The images will flow from the top right of the page from the right to the left and follow down the left hand side, this will allow for a column of information to be presented allowing the audience to easily find the where about of what they are looking for within the magazine.

Page 4: Task 10 new

This will be used as the head line of the contents page as is it not only fits in with the house style of my magazine it is easily noticeable and eye catching which is what is needed to be presented to the audience.

In this box you will find an image of the artist/artists maybe edited together in order to grab the readers attention the body language if the artist maybe a key feature in how the information of the contents page will be presented such as the artists clothing may link in to the font style/colour used. Or even include ideas such as the artist seems to be making contact with the text such as leaning on it or even holding it up.

This box is most likely to include the traditional information of a contents page and will help the reader find the page number of certain things.

Page 5: Task 10 new

On this page you can find the basic double page spread this page will include the large mast head filling both pages which will certainly allow the reader to identify the page. In order to set the scene –of the article the left page is used in order to place a picture of an artist which the article will cover on the following page this system is used in many popular magazines and will be used in mine also.

Page 6: Task 10 new

This is my detailed double page spread which as you can see has the artists name which is in bold dark letters sticking to the font style which belongs to the genre creating the aggressive theme. The information which will be presented on these pages would usually be either an interview or article written directly about the artist themselves. This article will include things such as drop caps which determine where the start of the article is and has a large quantity of pictures included in order to meet the needs of the all age ranges within the target audience group.
