Strenghts :I have a strong reading ability. I have a degree in ComputerScience, so the rapid advances in technologies are advantages.I have also explored some of my creative side in ceramics andmusic. I have strong support from my family to continue tocompletion. I am generally friendly, and always calm andrespectful. I also draw strength from my connection to theoutdoors through hiking, skiing and other pursuits. Thoseactivities contribute to my health and good spirits. In highschool I was on the Debate team for 2 years and lettered in theactivity.

Weaknesses :I have not had a job with extensive management experience. Iam not currently employed full time, and that represents aweakness in the availability of funds to continue my education.

Threats :The lack of full time employment is a significant threat for thecontinuation of my pursuing the MSPM. Besides the lack ofmoney beyond students loans, lack of health care coverage is athreat. Another threat, though of lower likelihood, is a dramaticincrease of demand for pottery, leading to my being too busy toproperly attend to my studies.

Opportunities :I am hoping that by starting this path of education I willimmediately be able to get a job or internship. There is also alarge opportunity for me to gain new abilities to work withpeople in groups. My joining the PMI is an opportunity forfurther information and mentoring. I will also be looking toCohort 15 for one or more mentors.

I have listed my unemployment as a Weakness and Threat, as it is a personal problem, and also an outside negative influence.
