When to Hit a Baseball

Sometimes I like to play baseball.

Baseball is fun.

I like to hit the ball with the bat.

First I have to walk up to the home plate.

I look around to see if anyone is close to me. It is okay if the empire and

catcher are behind me.

If someone is close to me, I will ask him or her to politely move.

I don’t want to hit anyone, especially over the head.

OUCH!!!

If I know that I won’t hit anyone, it is okay to raise the bat.

I get ready to hit the ball by standing with my arms held up holding the bat.

I watch the ball as it comes close to me.

If I don’t hit the ball, that’s okay. There is always next time!
