Way to measure how much students already know Allows them to see an overview of what they will

learn more indepth

How to Use

Allows students to use technology Opposed to just a reading assignment

Requires students engage in activity By popping balloons or highlighting words or

matching words to slogans, etc. Quizzes their knowledge through standard testing

Uses multiple choice to recall material just learned

Allows students to be creative Offers opportunities to give their own examples Also allows them to practice the material they

are learning It provides everyday examples familiar forms of

advertising Allows students to relate material back to their

everyday world
