Sidney Lewis(1903,1969)
Who?
Sindey Lewis a british boy who run away to join up fought
on the front line, until his mother send his birth certificate
to the war office and pleded thet hi should be sent home.
What?
Sidney lewis was the youngest soldier in the great war,He
fought in the battle of te somme and he was enlisted in
the East Surrey Regiment
In August 1915.
When?
He was born in 1903. He fought in the battle of the
somme in 1916. The army send him back from france in
1917 and he died in 1969
Where?
Sidney lewis had fought in the battle of the somme.
It took place at both sides of the river somme in frace.
This one was one of the largest and bloodiest battles in
world war 1.
1000000 men were wounded or killed.
Why?
It was because he felt nationalism and he want to fight to
his country and to be part of the fight.
But as a result of his age, his mother told officials that he
was too young to fight and should be sent back.
How?
Stories about the child fighting on the frontline were
printed in papers at the time, but they were never
corrborated until now
His life was so different in comparation with ours because
pricipally he became a soldier at the age of 12 and in our
case we aren´t soldiers and there are too many people
that can fight for us.
His life was so difficult becaus he being fightin all the time
and our life is studying, playing and doing sport instead of
fighting all the time
His life was so difficult because being fighting at all time,
and ours is just studying or playing sports instead of
fighting for our country
I think no,we although have nationalism but now we
doesn`t have to fight any more, is unneccesary.
conclution
Sidney lewis was very brave and he represent the

moder never leave her 1 years old son fought in a war.
