Setting a Passcode LockiPad Tutorials Created by Steve Zanotti
The first time an iPad is turned on the user will prompted to set a Passcode Lock. The user may
also set the passcode by following the next # Steps
Wake Up Your iPad
Press the Sleep-Wake Button
Enter a 4-Digit Code
If the
Change-Passcode window does not
appear, you can go to the Settings and
turn it on.
• Confirm your passcode by retyping it again
Tap on Settings Icon
Settings window will appear on screen
Tap on General Setting Tab
Tap on Passcode Setting Tab
Write the Passcode down
The Passcode is easy to forget. Write the Passcode down in 2 or 3 different places.
Suggestions:•Email Yourself•Write a Note•Add it to contact
Type in a Passcode number
You willbe asked to confirm
your Passcode Lock by retyping it a 2nd time in
a new screen .
Test Your Passcode Lock
Press the Sleep-Wake Button
Enter a 4-Digit Code
If you have forgot your Passcode Lock,
If can be reset.
