Gabrielle, myself and our main actors (Caan the murderer and I played the victim) have visited our location to run through our script. This helped us discover any problems with the script, and remove these issues for when we film, to make the process as smooth and easy as possible. It also helped us work out if our idea is practical, and the potential successes and failures of our idea.

Sound In terms of sound, the location was

quite quiet, apart from birds which could be removed from the film during the editing stage. However, the birds would make it clearer to the audience that the scene is in a forest area so this non-diegetic sound could be left in.

As we don't have to film any dialogue on set (we only have a voiceover to create more tension), we didn't encounter any problems regarding remembering lines. Therefore, there are no problems with diegetic sound during the filming process.

Lighting Lighting didn't prove too much of an issue, because the location we have

chosen has an area covered by tree's (which would give a creepy, shady effect)and there is also an open area which is more exposed and would therefore have better lighting. When we visited the location, it was quite bright so this would be a perfect condition to

film in.

Practicality We didn't discover any issues

in terms of practicality, as we only need a quiet forest space and the outside of someone's house. However, if we are unable to find a pin board we will need to adapt our script to use a wall instead.

Additionally, we took quite a long time to go through what sort of shots we may want, so further planning on what exactly we want to film would be extremely beneficial.
