How to connect device with

PC computer by TCP/IP： 1. When Power is on, Please make Fingerprint reader connect with

Router by Network cable (During its connection, Please double care that it may arise unsuccessful connection for the reason of the port disconnected between Network cable and Fingerprint-reader and meanwhile Failure Ping for Fingerprint reader communication, 2. Before operating the Attendance software, Please set up the special

parameters exclusively for Fingerprint reader communication as follows: Menu----.Setting-----.CommSet-----OK-----TCPIP-----IP Address

(Note: When you set up the IP address for Fingerprint reader, Please double care about the bellowed information in advance, For instance, the IP address information of PC that we used now is listed below: The IP address between fingerprint reader and PC must be in the same Network section, but it prohibited to absolutely same together, otherwise it will arise conflict for IP address,

Please see above photo, that’s the LAN communication screenshot, you can find if your PC’ s IP is 192.168.0.144, and accordingly you can freely make the IP address of your Fingerprint reader by following address whatever you like, 192.168.0.224， 192.168.0.223，

192.168.0.222 192.168.0.212

But please make sure the last three parameter just like 224,223,222,212 must be no more than 224, it’s very important, 225 will be prohibited according to regulation of IP address, Meanwhile the IP address of your fingerprint reader can not be same as other PC’s IP address in local area network(LAN), In other means, there is strictly prohibited that two same IP address in the same LAN with same Router, No matter what IP address is for PC or fingerprint reader, Otherwise it will be the conflict IP in network, Additionally the device IP in software must be absolutely same with fingerprint reader hardware

（ For example ， The IP of your PC is

192.168.0.144，The Fingerprint reader hardware is 192.168.0.212，and then the device IP in software must be 192.168.0.212）

The detail setting-up of fingerprint reader hardware, Please check photo as follows just as an example to show ,you how to set up IP address,sunet mast,gateway,port for LAN communication, 2) The port of software and fingerprint reader hardware should be the same one, if port of fingerprint reader is 5005, and accordingly the port of software is 5005,

3） The DefGateway must be in the same network section with PC’s IP

address, For example, the IP of PC is 192.168.0.144, and then the DefGateway should be set up as 192.168.0.1 (“0” stands for same network section, For “1”,you can’t change it in any time), 4）You can check the video for get more details about how to make
