About FPU

Program Description

The teacher librarian program offers both a teacher librarian services credential and a master of arts in education: school library and information technology emphasis. The school library program focuses on an integrated approach to traditional library media services through resource-based instruction. It is designed to meet the needs of candidates and reflect a rapidly changing society; a society increasingly enmeshed in assimilating technology and information literacy into the school and workplace. Candidates may complete coursework in the traditional face-to-face class in Fresno or Bakersfield or in a totally online format.
