Poverty is the state of a person who can not meet basic needs for themselves and their families, particularly regarding the economic field.

Description

Factors that lead to poverty is education that is too low, lazy to work, limited natural resources, lack of employment, lack of capital, the condition of isolation, poor health status.

The impact of poverty

As a result of poverty, high mortality due to non-fulfillment of food needs a healthy and nutritious. High crime rates because of the poor as if desperate to find a source of livelihood so that justifies any means to earn money to meet their needs. In addition, the resulting of drop out of school, because of poverty can not afford to pay school fees. This resulted in the next generation that should have a bright future have to feel the bitterness of the school.

How to overcome poverty

Many ways to do so that poverty can be reduced, both from the government and society. The government can create jobs that can absorb a lot of labor that unemployment could be reduced. People who do not have the skill or ability to work can follow the activities in vocational training centers were established by the government, so it can be equipped to start work or set up a business and earn income to meet their needs. Raise the minimum wage so that people who are unemployed have interest to work and earn a living wage to meet their needs. Providing subsidies for the underprivileged such as BLT (direct cash assistance), the fuel subsidy, treatment and education is also effective in reducing poverty.
