I have made a questionnaire, and given it out to 20 people within my target audience, so they can fill it in and I can find out more about what they think the magazine should be like and look like. Their opinions are important as the people within my target audience are the people who are going to buy my magazine. This questionnaire consists of 15 questions, which all relate to making decisions when it comes to production of my music magazine. I have included questions such as the age and gender as this is important to find out if there are going to be more females or males and within what age range in my target audience most people questioned fall under, so I can make my magazine appropriate for them. I have also included questions about how often they buy music magazines and how much are they willing to pay. These questions are important as they will help me with deciding on the frequency of publication of my magazine and the price. Some other questions that I have included about what colours do they associate with the genre that I'm doing and also the words. The answers to these questions will help me with deciding on the colour scheme for my magazine and maybe even the title. I have also asked a question about what font do they think is appropriate for the masthead of my magazine. Closer to the end of the questionnaire I have asked questions about what articles do they like in music magazines, what incentives would they like to be included and whether they like competitions or not. The answer to these questions will help me when it comes to deciding on the content for my music magazine, so I can make it the way people from my target audience would enjoy to read it. The last question that I have asked was an open question about just the general likes and dislikes in music magazines. The answers to this question will give me an insight of what to include and what to not include in my music magazine.
