Overview of Workshop Process

• There is no wrong idea

For instructors:

• Provide background when needed

About the Program

• Intended to be a course that gives people basic supervision skills
• Current version: 4.5 days long
• Optimal length and content to be determined
Supervisory Scenarios: Crazy 8
Please take five minutes to write down projects you have been working on during the past 2-6 weeks• Crazy 8: Take a sheet of paper, fold, fold it again, and again, and again.
• You have 5 minutes total to draw eight sketches, one in each panel.
• Sketch (draw, note) typical supervision challenges and situations
• Repeat.
Supervisory Scenarios: Pair and Share
Please take five minutes to write down projects you have been working on during the past 2-6 weeks• Find a partner.
• Review your sketches: What is different? What is the same?
• Decide which challenges, tasks, scenarios to share.
• Draw / describe on white cards.
• Depict one item per card.
